Trim-A-Slab at the National Hardware Show, 2016
KRIV Houston, September, 2016
Hi Bob, Following your directions I went to ACE Hardware on FM2920 just west of I-45. Got two rolls of black 1″ and just finished installing the first strip and it looks terrific. My wife will have a tough time getting her heels stuck now!!
Just FYI the slot was a little less than 1″ wide for a good bit of the 15′. Used a black rubber mallet to tap it into place were my hand alone was not enough.
Hey Bob: Thanks for the samples. The one inch is what I need & I found it in stock @ Mr C’s in Hurst. Great product !
Just wanted to tell you how pleased we are with our new driveway. I had a knee replacement recently and was unable to install it myself. I called your number and asked for a recommendation on an installer. Very shortly afterwards I received a call from Mr. Patrick Millis. He came out and measured my driveway and returned to install your product the next day. We were very pleased with the installation. He actually took the time to do it just like I would have. He was very courteous and friendly. I have had many compliments on your product and have recommended it to many of our friends. Thank you so much for the time and effort you took to develop it. I did a lot of research before deciding on your product and I believe it to be the best on the market. I wish you continued success with Trim-A Slab and wish you and your family a Happy New Year…
Hi Bob, I installed Trim-A-Slab in under an hour! This is great stuff. I have a minor problem…..I am getting a lot of people knock on my door to ask about it. Do you have a yard sign I could put out in my lawn? Let me know if you would like to do this and I will come and pick it up.
Bob, Patrick finished the job this morning – looks GREAT!!!.
Thanks for the reply Bob.
After another talk with Alex at the Spring Cypress Ace Hardware and we decided the 3/4” should work. It did and this product is fabulous. Finished a couple of rolls today and will be purchasing more to complete the project soon. Now if the old wood would come out as easy as the Tim-A- Slab was installed it wouldn’t take any time at all.
Thanks again Bob.
Have a Fantastic week.
I received your samples, I like them! You have a better product than slab gasket. Can you please let me know when your 2 x 4 size is available in tan.
Hi, I bought Trim-A-Slab at the Katy Home and Garden show back in January. My son and I just laid all the Trim-A-Slab in this weekend, and as I told you on the phone, it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread! My driveway boards were fairly well rotted and so most of it was already out and some were stubborn to get out…but when it came time to lay the rubber….easy as cake! I’m not good at baking pies, so it’s the cake comparison for me. 🙂 Thanks for a great product….it looks stout enough to last a long time!
I should be the Poster Boy for your product. Where I messed up was not getting that tool from you, I thought it would be easy to clean between the slabs but NO. It really looks great. When I get back from vacation I’ll run you by so you can judge for yourself, 5 minutes. I had about 1 foot left over so good measurements.
Thanks for getting this.
When I purchased your product about a month or so ago, you requested that I send back to you some feedback. My son and I installed around 150 feed of the gray colored material in less than three hours. The installation was simple and the product has given the drive and walk ways a clean, neat appearance. It was well worth the cost.
